Regal Review: King Willem-Alexander's Inauguration Festivities
On the evening of April 30th, 2013, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima hosted a reception for their guests to end the festivities following the King’s inauguration.
King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, and their daughters first attended a water pageant to celebrate the new King.
Then, the family arrived at the Muziekgebouw where a reception took place with foreign royal guests in attendance.
Queen Maxima wore a stunning Jan Taminiau burgundy embroidered lace gown with a matching shawl. Princesses Amalia, Alexia and Ariane were wearing the same Natan dresses they wore for the inauguration ceremony.
Princess Mabel wore a bow gown by Viktor & Rolf once again with nude leather peep toes shoes.
Princess Laurentien wore a navy lace dress with long sleeves by Olvi’s.
The then-Princess Letizia wore a Felipe Varela bespoke one shoulder navy gown with a black clutch and navy Magrit shoes.
Crown Princess Victoria wore her gold Jenny Packham gown with matching gold Gianvito Rossi pumps and Anya Hindmarch clutch as well as her By Malina fur jacket.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore an Alberta Ferretti strapless pleated gown with her Alberta Ferretti fur pink cape. She paired the outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pink patent leather sandals and her Kotur green clutch.
Crown Princess Mary wore her Jesper Hovring red gown with Prada silver pumps and a silver clutch.
Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie wore a green sleeveless draped gown by Elie Saab.
