Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia continued their tour of Spain by visiting Seville and Córdoba with the aim of supporting economic, social, and cultural activity after the Coronavirus outbreak.

In Seville, King Felipe and Queen Letizia first visited the “El Esqueleto” Civic Center in the Tres Mil Viviendas neighborhood. They held a meeting to learn more about the actions of the Polígono Sur Emergency Commission, set up to deal with the situation caused by COVID-19.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia then visited the social center of the Don Bosco Foundation, where they toured the electricity, hospitality, and sewing workshops.

Following their visit to the Tres Mil Viviendas neighborhood, King Felipe and Queen Letizia went to the historic center of Seville where they walked to the Real Alcázar of Seville. There, they hosted a meeting with representatives of the Andalusian Confederation of Entrepreneurs to talk about social and economic issues, in addition to health issues.

In the afternoon, King Felipe and Queen Letizia traveled to Córdoba. After being officially welcomed by the Mayor of Córdoba, José María Bellido, the royal couple walked towards Calle San Basilio. There, they visited the courtyard where the Friends of the Cordovan Patios Association is based, whose president, Miguel Ángel Roldán, has explained the work of his association.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia then visited workshops that were developed into these patios as well as a patio that now hosts tourist accommodation. The patios used to be small houses but were transformed in order to make them economically sustainable and thus avoid their disappearance.

Queen Letizia wore a new sleeveless midi dress by Adolfo Dominguez with new wedges by Macarena. She also wore her bamboo hoop earrings and her Karen Hallam ring.
