Regal Review: The Wedding of Prince Albert & Princess Charlene - Wedding Reception
Following their religious wedding ceremony, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene had their wedding reception on the terraces of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, followed by fireworks and the opening of the Opéra Ball.
Performers included the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Opéra Choir, Andrea Bocelli, and Renée Flemming among others. The night ended with a firework display.
Princess Charlene wore an off-white silk chiffon gown by Armani Privé with a broad neckline and a four-tier skirt that flows into a small train. The gown features embroideries crafted with Swarovski teardrops and stones in gold and platinum colors. She didn’t wear a tiara but she wore her Lorenz Bäumer’s diamond aigrette.
Princess Caroline wore a Chanel black layered gown with Chanel t-strap sandals and a sapphire and diamond necklace as a tiara.
Charlotte Casiraghi wore a light blue Giambattista Valli strapless gown and matching cape with nude sandals.
Tatiana Santo Domingo wore a Valentino ruffled off the shoulder dress and Beatrice Borromeo wore a heavily embellished gown.
Princess Stéphanie wore a sleeveless lace gown by Jiki Monte-Carlo with a silver bag and the same silver sandals her daughter Pauline wore earlier in the day.
Queen Silvia wore a blue gown with matching blue accessories and the Nine Prong Tiara.
Crown Princess Victoria wore an Escada one shoulder pleated gown with her YSL metallic sandals and a coral clutch. She wore the Baden Fringe Tiara.
Princess Madeleine wore a strapless Carmen Marc Valvo gown with Jimmy Choo shoes and her Kara Ross clutch. She wore the Modern Fringe Tiara.
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore a navy gown with a matching shawl and accessories. She wore the Grand Duchess Adelaide Tiara.
Queen Maxima wore a strapless light blue tiered gown with her Celestina silver clutch. She wore the Dutch Aquamarine tiara and almost all the pieces of the matching aquamarine parure.
Crown Princess Mary wore a bright pink one shoulder David Andersen gown with a Naledi Copenhagen matching clutch. She wore her wedding tiara and the earrings, ring, bracelet and brooch of the Ruby Parure.
Princess Marie wore a Rikke Gudnitz lace and tulle gown with her Jil Sander pumps and a Bottega Veneta clutch. She wore her wedding diamond tiara with Christine Hvelplund earrings and a Christine Hvelplund bracelet.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a one shoulder pleated gown with a silver belt and her Kotur clutch. She wore the Daimond Daisy Bandeau.
The Countess of Wessex wore a navy sleeveless embellished gown by Bruce Oldfield with her diamond wedding tiara.
