The Duchess of Cambridge meets parent peer groups in Battersea Park
Today, the Duchess of Cambridge carried out two engagements in support of parent-powered support programs.
The Duchess first held a virtual meeting with representatives of associations such as Home Start UK, Parents 1st UK, Island House Charity Community, Blackpool Better Start, Applied Research Collaboration, Coram Family and Childcare, and NCT who run parent peer support networks.
Afterward, the Duchess of Cambridge went to Battersea Park in South London where she met parents and volunteers from Home-Start UK, the National Childbirth Trust, and Mush peer to peer support networks.
During the meeting, the Duchess learned about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on that support and how important peer-to-peer support can be for parents.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a new Ralph Lauren white top with her pink Marks & Spencer trousers. She paired the outfit with her Superga white trainers and her Ray-Ban sunglasses. Kate accessorized with her Halcyon Days bangle and Daniella Draper hoops as well as a new necklace by Spells of Love and another necklace with her children’s initials by All The Falling Stars.
