The Duchess of Cambridge talks to nurses from University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust
On Tuesday, the Duchess of Cambridge made a video call to nurses from University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust as patron of the Nursing Now campaign to discuss their experiences during the pandemic and why their profession is so important.
During the meeting, the Duchess of Cambridge said: “We hear time and time again about the amazing things nurses up and down the country are doing - going that extra mile. […] I think that’s what matters so much now: these acts of kindness to the patients you’re looking after. Family members aren’t able to be there, but you’re going that extra mile and being there.”
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a white shirt by Holland Cooper with a black blazer as well as earrings which might be her Simone Rocha earrings and an Astley Clarke necklace.
