The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge speak with nursing students from Ulster University’s School of Nursing

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spoke with nursing students from Ulster University’s School of Nursing, Newtownabbey, County Antrim.

During the meeting, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined students taking part in practical clinical sessions at the university with their lecturers. They heard about the students’ first placement during the first wave of the pandemic and how some of them decided to extend their placements to support frontline workers. The Duchess of Cambridge said that they were needed more now than ever.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also met with Abigail, whose TikTok video about her life as a nursing student during the pandemic recently went viral.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore her Alexander McQueen black blazer with her Astley Clarke necklace and Orelia London earrings.
