Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit visit UngInvest in Modum

Today, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited UngInvest AIB in Modum to mark the 20th anniversary of the Crown Prince Couple’s Fund which was created after the couple’s wedding in 2001.

The visit was originally scheduled in August but had to be postponed after Princess Ingrid-Alexandra tested positive for COVID-19 and her parents had to self-isolate.

UngInvest AIB is one of the Fund’s partners since 2011 and offers learning opportunities for people who do not want to pursue a traditional upper secondary education.

During their visit, the Crown Prince couple met people who were supported by UngInvest to hear about their experiences.

They then joined students in the kitchen to decorate cakes celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Fund and the 10th anniversary of the partnership between the Fund and UngInvest.

The couple then attended a small party in the mechanical workshop where they received gifts from the students.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a new Pia Tjelta top with black trousers and her Christian Louboutin ballet flats. I believe she also wore her Marc Jacobs coat when arriving.
