On Thursday, the Duchess of Sussex appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for her first daytime talk show interview in years.

During the show - of which you can watch extracts below - the Duchess of Sussex talked about moving to California and her children. She also discussed her children’s book The Bench and her support for paid leave among other things.

During the show, the Duchess of Sussex also took part in a prank as Ellen directed her on surprising local vendors.

During the show, Ellen announced that the show’s partner TisBest donated $20,000 to Brittany Starks who offered to braid the hair of children in her community for free to help single parents and support local kids. The Duchess of Sussex announced that Archewell had matched TisBest’s donation to Brittany.

For the interview, the Duchess of Sussex wore a new Oscar de la Renta blouse (with thanks to @japanese_ginger) with black trousers and black pumps. She also wore her Cartier and Jennifer Meyer bracelets.

For the prank segment, the Duchess of Sussex wore a new Anine Bing coat (with thanks to Jennifer) with a new Stella McCartney blouse and a new Stella McCartney skirt (with thanks to @whatmegwore). She also wore her Cartier and Jennifer Meyer bracelets.
