Crown Princess Couple Visits Skåne County
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Skåne County today to highlight their response to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel first attended a meeting at the governor's residence in Malmö with representatives of several organizations to discuss how the pandemic has affected the county.
The Crown Prince Couple then visited Skåne University Hospital where they talked to healthcare staff about the ongoing pandemic.
Crown Princess Victoria said, “The purpose of the visits we are making to Swedish Counties is to listen to stories about how care, business, and culture have been affected by the pandemic. I am impressed and grateful for how the regions' employees have acted and happy to have this opportunity to show our appreciation.”
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel then visited the Moderna Museet which is a museum of modern and contemporary art.
After having learned more about how the pandemic affected the museum, the Crown Princess Couple toured the exhibition "Balance Acts" with works by Beate Wassermann which is shown for the first time in Scandinavia.
They then visited Sorgenfris IP where they talked to young people and representatives from Malmö''s football club and sports academy about how the pandemic affected them and the business.
To conclude their county visit, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended a service at St Petri Church.
The couple lit candles to pay tribute to the victims of the pandemic.
Crown Princess Victoria wore a new Balmuir grey coat, with a merino cable knit jumper from & Other Stories. She paired this with a new black faux-leather midi skirt by Stand Studio and new Sania D’Mina black tall boots. She carried her Bottega Veneta Cassette Bag and accessorized with a new Alexandré de Paris hair clip, Kreuger Jewellery rings, Ebba Brahe, and Sophie by Sophie bracelets. She finished the look with her Epoch Stockholm watch.
