King Felipe and Queen Letizia visit Fuendetodos to commemorate the 275th anniversary of Goya's birth

Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited Fuendetodos to attend several events within the framework of the commemoration of the 275th anniversary of Francisco de Goya’s birth.

They first visited the house in which Goya was born as it currently houses the exhibition “Sapristi! Tribute to Goya ”. At the Ignacio Zuloaga Exhibition House, they held a meeting with representatives of the Goya Foundation in Aragon and representatives of the region before visiting the exhibition “Solana versus Goya. Mask and simulation ”, by José Gutiérrez Solana.

Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia walked to the Plaza de las Reliquias where they took a group photo in front of the bronze bust of Francisco de Goya made by Julio Rodríguez Hernández. They then visited the "Antonio Saura" Engraving Workshop and the Engraving Museum where they toured four rooms dedicated to Goya's four series of engravings, Los Caprichos, Los Desastres de la Guerra, La Tauromaquia and Los Disparates.

To end their visit, King Felipe and Queen Letizia went to the Fuendetodos Space where they presided over the meeting of the Goya Foundation in Aragón and Goya Fuendetodos Cultural Consortium Board of Trustees, within the framework of the commemoration of the 275th anniversary of the birth of Francisco de Goya

Queen Letizia wore her Burberry white jacket (with thanks to QueenLetiziaStyle for this amazing find!) with her Hugo Boss striped top and black trousers. She wore new Isabel Abdo pumps (with thanks to Nuria) and her Nina Ricci bag. She paired the outfit with her gold hoop earrings and her Karen Hallam gold ring.
