Crown Princess Mary takes part in roundtable follow-up meeting on the 2019 Nairobi Summit

Today, Crown Princess Mary took part in a roundtable meeting to follow-up on the status of commitments announced at the Nairobi Summit in 2019. The meeting, which was partly virtual, took place in the County Council Hall at Christiansborg.

During the meeting, the engagements taken during the Nairobi Summit were reaffirmed and the guests discussed what concrete efforts and strategies should be used in the future to ensure girls’ and women’s rights to decide for their own bodies.

Crown Princess Mary attended the meeting in her quality of Patron of the UN Population Fund. Last year, she also joined the UN Population Fund's newly established independent ICPD25 High Level Commission to follow up on the global commitments made at the Nairobi Summit, which was co-hosted by Denmark and Kenya in 2019.

Crown Princess Mary wore a black knit top with black trousers, a red coat, and a black shawl. She paired the outfit with black shoes and a red bag that could be her Hugo Boss Nathalie bag. She also wore her Dulong Delphis bracelet as well as her Gucci glasses.
