British Royal Family attends Royal Ascot - Day 1
Today, members of the Royal Family attended the first day of Royal Ascot. The racecourses are held every year for a week in June but this year’s edition follows the current guidelines related to the pandemic which means there will not be carriage processions this year.
For the first day of Royal Ascot 2021, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Anne, the Earl and Countess of Wessex as well as Mike and Zara Tindall were in attendance. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall handed out the trophy of the St James's Palace Stakes.
The Duchess of Cornwall wore a Bruce Oldfield outfit with a matching face mask.
Princess Anne wore a Shibumi Vera dress with the brand’s Juna jacket and matching shawl.
The Countess of Wessex wore a new ARossGirl dress (with thanks to innominate_93) with her Sophie Habsburg clutch and Moda in Pelle shoes. She also repeated a Jane Taylor hat.
Zara Tindall wore a new dress by ME + EM (with thanks to Emily Collins) with Emmy pumps and a matching Emmy clutch. She paired the outfit with a Juliette Botterill hat, Laurence Coste earrings, her Rolex watch and Ray-Ban sunglasses.
