Queen Maxima attends Money Wise symposium and visits Veluw Metal Creations
On Monday, Queen Maxima attended a MoneyWise symposium on the theme 'Money worries, prevention is better than cure’.
Queen Maxima spoke with a general practitioner from the Schilderswijk in The Hague and a youth health care adviser about the relationship between money worries and health. At the symposium, ten building blocks for organizations that offer help to financially vulnerable people were presented.
On Tuesday, Queen Maxima, as a member of the Dutch Committee for Entrepreneurship, paid a working visit to metal company Veluw Metal Creations.
Queen Maxima first toured the company to learn more about their sustainability in the production process such as the use of intelligent software to minimize the release of residual material and waste during the production process.
Queen Maxima also spoke with entrepreneurs from the metal sector to hear how they invest in innovation and entrepreneurship, focusing on sustainability initiatives.
