Spanish royal family visits the Sierra de Tramontana Natural Park and the Lluc Sanctuary

Tonight, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia visited the Interpretation Center of the Serra de Tramuntana Natural Area and the Lluc Sanctuary in Palma. The Serra de Tramuntana is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The family first toured the Interpretation Center dedicated to the ecosystems of the ethnography of the Serra de Tramuntana.


After their visit, they walked to the Basilica of the Santuario de Lluc. After a short ceremony inside the basilica, the family signed the guest book of the sanctuary.

King Felipe, Queen Letizia, and their daughters went to the Plaza del Lledoner Centenario and traveled up the Monte del Rosario route, which contains stone monuments with bronze high-reliefs. During the walk, they stopped to observe the panoramic view of the Serra de Tramuntana and the Lluc Valley.

Their visit ended with a small reception at Escorca Town Hall where the family met with official representatives and signed the guest book.

Queen Letizia wore a new linen dress by Adolfo Dominguez with her Bolsas FQ blue tote bag. She debuted new traditional Ibizan espadrilles by Espardenyes Torres (with thanks to @letizia_de_princesa_a_reina). She paired the outfit with her Gold & Roses earrings and Karen Hallam gold ring.

Princess Leonor wore a new dress by & Other Stories with her Macarena shoes. She also wore new leaf earrings by Quandari(with thanks to @letizia_de_princesa_a_reina).

Infanta Sofia wore her Zara white romper with the same Macarena shoes as her sister.
