Queen Letizia opens the 80th edition of the Madrid Book Fair

Today, Queen Letizia took part in the opening of the 80th edition of the Madrid Book Fair. The annual book fair aims to promote books, reading, and publishing.

Colombia is the guest of honor of the 80th edition of the Madrid Book Fair. The Fair will celebrate the life and work of Colombian writers and culture as the country is celebrating 200 years of history. King Felipe and Queen Letizia will host an official lunch for the Colombian president next week.

Queen Letizia toured the fair and stopped at several stands to learn more about the work they are exhibiting.

Queen Letizia wore a new Hugo Boss dress (with thanks to Nuria) with her Carolina Herrera fuchsia slingback pumps. She also wore gold hoop earrings and her Karen Hallam gold ring.
