Today, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit concluded their annual county trip in Viken. They spent the day in Fredrikstad.
Crown Prince Haakon began the day with a visit to the learning arena Café Hanco where young people who do not have access to upper secondary education get the opportunity to develop and find their way to education and working life.
Afterward, he was joined by Crown Princess Mette-Marit on an electric city ferry to travel to the Old Town in Fredrikstad.
The Crown Prince couple then toured the Old Town. They had the opportunity to learn more about the city's history since its foundation in 1567.
Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit ended their day by taking part in a beach cleaning activity in Gansrødbukta in Øra nature reserve. They were joined by members of the Maritime Care and people from the Prison and Probation Service as well as the Blue Cross.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore her Aigle coat over her Christian Dior jacket, brown trousers, and new Ganni boots. For the beach cleaning, she changed from her Dior jacket into a new Patagonia jacket.
