On Tuesday, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia started a two-day visit to Värmland. Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia are Duke and Duchess of Värmland.

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia first visited Vindpark Knöstad in Säffle. Prince Carl Philip officially inaugurated the new wind farm.

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia then had lunch with Governor Georg Andrén and his wife My Andrén at Kungskvarnen in Borgvik.

In the afternoon, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia visited the library in Grums. The couple learned more about the library’s reading project where older students read aloud to younger students. They also met students involved in the project.

In the evening, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia attended a dinner hosted by the Governor at his residence in Karlstad.
