The Countess of Wessex visits David Lewis School and PACES Campus

On Thursday, the Countess of Wessex attended several events in Cheshire and South Yorkshire.

She first visited the David Lewis School in Alderley Edge as Patron of the David Lewis Centre. The Countess of Wessex officially re-opened the school which is for children and young people with special educational needs.

She toured the school and met with students, staff, partners, and supporters of the School. She also planted a tree to mark the reopening.

Afterward, the Countess of Wessex went to the PACES Campus in Sheffield where she presented his BEM to 'Captain' Tobias Weller, making him the youngest recipient award.

‘Captain’ Tobias has cerebral palsy and autism and the award celebrates his fundraising of over £150,000 for Sheffield Children's and his school, Paces Sheffield. The Countess of Wessex told him: "Don't forget, you're the youngest person to ever receive this very special award and it's incredibly well deserved. You've done such an amazing job."

The Countess of Wessex then visited Blend Kitchen in Sheffield. The bar/restaurant provides training and employment support to people who might have difficulties entering the job market.

The Countess of Wessex wore her Vince coat over a black dress with her Prada boots and her Sophie Habsburg clutch. She also wore her Hermes necklace.
