Crown Princess Victoria attends meetings on foreign security policy issues
Today, Crown Princess Victoria attended several meetings at the Royal Palace focusing on foreign and security policy issues.
She and Prince Daniel first met with Gudrun Persson from the Swedish Defense Research Agency, who focuses on Russian security and foreign policy, to learn more about the current security policy situation in Europe.
Afterward, Crown Princess Victoria attended a digital meeting with Jan Eliasson and Joakim Vaverka from Sipri, as well as Peter Wallensteen from Uppsala University. The meeting focused on current crises and conflicts around the world, including the regional security situation in the Middle East, the civil war in Tigray, and the UN's stabilization effort in Mali.
Crown Princess Victoria then received Patrik Oksanen, a strategic advisor at the Swedish National Defense College, to learn more about the security policy situation in the Baltics.
