Welcome to this week’s Royal Recap where we’ll take a look at the events we weren’t able to cover fully this week!

On Tuesday, Queen Mathilde visited the municipal basic school in Bouge as part of her work against bullying in schools. The school uses the KiVA method to prevent bullying and train teachers and students in conflict management.

Queen Mathilde wore a new Natan dress with a Natan brown belt and brown accessories.

On Wednesday, Queen Mathilde visited the Kask & Conservatorium School of Arts Gent to speak with students about the impact of COCID-19 on their daily lives and the continuation of their musical careers.

Queen Mathilde wore a navy Natan coat with a green checked Natan outfit and navy accesssories.

On Thursday, Queen Mathilde visited another school to discuss bullying in schools. This time, she visited Zonnebos which is a specialized secondary school practicing hippotherapy.

Queen Mathilde wore a black leather top with Natan trousers, black ankle boots, and her Diane von Furstenberg cltuch.

On Thursday evening, Queen Mathilde attended the concert of The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen at the Concertgebouw Brugge which was celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Queen Mathilde wore a new Giorgio Armani jacket (with thanks to ModeKoninginMathilde) and her Lulu Guinness clutch.

On Friday, Queen Mathilde met with author Tom Naegels at the Royal Palace.

Queen Mathilde wore a full Natan burgundy outfit: a silk blouse, her printed tulle skirt, suede belt, and buckle embellished pumps.


On Wednesday, Queen Maxima visited the project De Blue Haven Rotterdam which supports police officers in their recovery.

Queen Maxima wore a new coat with her Natan jacket and Chanel bag.


On Tuesday, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visited the Ermesinde home, managed by the foundation Solidarité Jeunes (SOLINA), whose main mission is to support adolescent girls in social and psychosocial difficulties.

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore a fully repeated outfit with her Peruffo earrings.

On Wednesday, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visited the A. Stichting Foundation in Forest, Belgium where she saw two exhibitions. It was also announced that Grand Duchess Maria Teresa will be Patron of the “Regards de femmes" exhibition, organized by the A. Stichting Foundation, which will highlight women photographers in September 2022.

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore her Emporio Armani jacket over a black top and grey trousers. She paired the outfit with Alexander McQueen sneakers and her Etro scarf.

On Friday, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa gave an interview to “Cause Toujours” which aired on Saturday.

On Saturday, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended the event marking the start of Esch2022 - as Esch-sur-Alzette is the European Capital of Culture for the year. Grand Duchess Maria Teresa is Patron of Esch2022.

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore a repeated outfit with a new Delvaux bag (with thanks to Pablo) and her Peruffo earrings.


On Thursday, King Carl-Gustaf and Queen Silvia received the Brazilian Ambassador Tabajara de Oliveirae for a farewell audience.

On Friday, Queen Silvia digitally took part in the Child10 Award 2022. During the event, 10 new organizations were announced to receive support for their work against human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children around Europe.

It appears Queen Silvia filmed this video message on Thursday so she is wearing her Weill jacket and white blouse.

On Friday evening, King Carl-Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Princess Christina, Ms Magnusson, and Thord Magnusson attended Tomas Ledin’s concert at Avicii Arena. Tomas Ledin is turning 70 this year and is celebrating 50 years as an artist.

Queen Silvia wore her Mourjjan purple silk pantsuit.


On Thursday, the Countess of Wessex opened the new Jigsaw Hub at The Lighthouse which offers a safe space for mothers to meet.

The Countess of Wessex wore her Max Mara coat with a Soler blouse and her Alberta Ferretti trousers. She paired the outfit with her Sophie Habsburg clutch and Prada ankle boots.
