Queen Maxima meets Ukrainian refugees and schoolchildren

Today, Queen Maxima attended two events focused on Ukrainian refugees in Rijswijk and in The Hague.

She first helped launch the new website refugeehelp.nl which is a website for Ukrainian refugees in The Netherlands.

The website provides relevant information about their stay in the Netherlands in their own language and it was built with help from Ukrainian refugees.

After the launch, Queen Maxima talked with refugees and stakeholders to hear about how the website came together.

Afterward, Queen Maxima visited two schools in The Hague which are attended by Ukrainian children. During her visit to De Vuurvlinder elementary school, Queen Maxima talked to Ukrainian children about their experiences and took part in a language circuit with the theme of art and emotions.

She then visited Diamant College which has several language classes for refugees. She met the students and teachers and took part in a lesson on the theme 'Dreams about the future'.

Queen Maxima wore a Max Mara coat with a repeated red outfit. She also wore an Urban Story clutch with her Gianvito Rossi pumps. She paired the outfit with a Rolex watch and her Dinh Van bracelet.
