The Countess of Wessex spends the day in Swansea

Today, the Countess of Wessex was in Swansea where she attended several engagements.

She first visited Swansea University to learn more about the three-year project to advance the pioneering 3D bioprinting technology launched by the Scar Free Foundation, of which she is Patron, and Health and Care Research Wales.

Afterward, the Countess of Wessex planted a tree in Swansea’s new park to celebrate the city being awarded ‘Champion City’ status under the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative.

The Countess of Wessex then visited Matthew’s House where she met volunteers supporting people in need through different projects such as the Homeless Period, which provides Dignity Packs “of essential hygiene products to vulnerable men and women in Swansea.”

Finally, the Countess of Wessex went to Port Talbot where she visited the Playhem Play Centre which offers support to parents at risk of isolation.

The Countess of Wessex wore her Prada pink coat over a black outfit with her Sophie Habsburg clutch, black pumps, and her Patek Philippe watch.
