The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's visit to Scotland - Day 1
Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge started their two-day visit to Scotland in Glasgow.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge first visited St John's Primary School where they took part in a Roots of Empathy class which is a program run by Action on Children of which the Duchess of Cambridge is Patron. It aims to help children aged 5-13 build empathy.
Afterward, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Wheatley Group to hear about the challenges of homelessness in the country. They met with people who have been supported by the group to hear more about their experiences.
The couple then went to the University of Glasgow where they met with students and alumni to talk about mental health as this week is Mental Health Awareness Week. They heard about the University’s work and the student-led projects focusing on supporting student mental health.
Outside the University, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge concluded the first day of their visit with a very enthusiastic walkabout.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore her Catherine Walker coat with a Cefinn blouse (with thanks to Innominate93) and blue trousers. She paired the outfit with her Rupert Sanderson pumps, her Polène bag, and her Annoushka earrings.
