Finnish State Visit to Sweden - Day 1
On Tuesday, the President of Finland and the First Lady started their two-day state visit to Sweden. King Carl-Gustaf and Queen Silvia first officially welcomed the President and the First Lady at Hovstallet.
From there, the Royal Couple and the Presidential Couple traveled in a procession from Hovstallet to the Royal Castle.
They then attended the traditional welcome ceremony during which the King and the President inspected a grenadier company from the Life Guards and the national anthems were played.
After the ceremony, the Presidential couple was welcomed by Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl-Philip, and Princess Sofia.
A press conference was then hosted during which the Finnish President and King Carl-Gustaf made statements.
The First Lady and Queen Silvia then toured the Bernadotte Library before joining King Carl-Gustaf and the President at the Riksdag.
In the afternoon, Queen Silvia and Jenni Haukio visited Prince Eugene Waldemarsudde where they toured the exhibition "Light over the sea and land - Önningeby colony on Åland".

They then joined King Carl-Gustaf and President Niinistö at Kulturhuset to attend the event "Past, present and future: how to further develop Swedish-Finnish cultural cooperation?".
To conclude the day, King Carl-Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted a gala dinner at the Royal Castle in honor of the Finnish President and the First Lady.

Queen Silvia wore a repeated suit with her Salvatore Ferragamo pumps.
Crown Princess Victoria wore her Andiata dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and Miu Miu clutch. She paired the outfit with her Kreuger earrings, her Sophie by Sophie bracelet, her Epoch watch, and her Handsome Stockholm gloves.
Princess Sofia wore her Hugo Boss dress with Stinaa.J pumps and a new Bottega Veneta clutch.
In the evening, Queen Silvia wore a new dusty rose long sleeve gown by Georg et Arend with Crown Princess Margaret's Ruby Tiara.
Crown Princess Victoria wore her Jennifer Blom gown with her Anya Hindmarch clutch and the Cut Steel Tiara.
Princess Sofia wore her Zetterberg Couture gown with her Stinaa.J and. aChristian Louboutin clutch. She paired the outfit with her wedding tiara and her LWL Jewelry earrings.
