Danish Royal Family celebrates Queen Margrethe's Jubilee at Tivoli
Today, Tivoli Garden hosted several events to mark Queen Margrethe’s Jubilee. Queen Margrethe toured Tivoli this morning to take part in a few of the activities planned throughout the day.
She planted a tree to mark the Jubilee and she saw an exhibition showing some of the costumes she designed over the year.
She also took a ride on the Flying Suitcase which is an amusement tide focusing on HC Andersen’s fairytales and on The Old Slide which is one of the oldest running wooden slides in the world.
She also was shown a special anniversary cake on the Lawn of Tivoli.
Queen Margrethe wore a repeated outfit with her Mathilde Førster hat.
In the evening, a special ballet performance was hosted at Tivoli to mark the Jubilee. It featured dancers from the Hamburg Ballet, Royal Ballet in London, the Paris Opera, New York City Ballet, and the Royal Ballet among others.
Queen Margrethe wore a floral printed midi dress with nude pumps and a blue bag.
Crown Princess Mary wore a new Taller Marmo coat with her Prada clutch, Gianvito Rossi shoes and her Rebekka Notkin earrings.
Princess Marie wore an Emily Shalant outfit with her Miu Miu pumps and her Olga Berg bag. She paired the outfit with new Jade & Julie earrings and her Rolex watch.
Princess Benedikte wore a Wichmann Couture with her Salvatore Ferragamo pumps and a Wilbur & Gussie clutch.
