Dutch State Visit to Austria - Day 1
Today, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima started a three-day state visit to Austria. They were first officially welcomed by the President and the First Lady of Austria at the Hofburg. The Royal Couple then had a private meeting with the Presidential Couple.
Afterward, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima took part in a wreath-laying ceremony for the victims of the Second World War at the Namenmonument in the Ostarrichi Park.
The Royal Couple then toured the Austrian Parliament building before meeting with the Mayor of Vienna.
In the evening, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended a gala dinner hosted by the President and the First Lady at Belvedere Palace.
Queen Maxima first wore a Natan Couture dress with Natan pumps and a Sophie Habsburg clutch (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima). She paired the outfit with a Fabienne Delvigne hat.
In the evening, Queen Maxima wore her Stella McCartney gown with her Christian Dior clutch and her Gianvito Rossi sandals. She wore the Antique Pearl Tiara.
