Crown Princess Victoria spends second day at UN's Maritime Conference
On Wednesday, Crown Princess Victoria spent her second day at the UN Maritime Conference in Lisbon, Portugal.
Crown Princess Victoria first attended a breakfast meeting organized by The International Coral Reef Initiative which described what measures are needed to save coral reefs and an action plan was presented for the next three years.
Crown Princess Victoria then received a guided tour of Alfama, one of Lisbon's oldest areas.
Afterward, Crown Princess Victoria attended the launch of SeaBOS’ report on the work done in the five years since the initiative started. In her speech, she said: “We need to see action that inspires hope. We need to believe that change is possible. And we need our children and grandchildren to know they can count on us. That the promises we make, are promises that will be kept.“
In the afternoon, Crown Princess Victoria attended an official meeting with the President of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa at the Presidential Palace.
Crown Princess Victoria then visited the Jerónimos Monastery and was given a guided tour. The monastery is classified as a World Heritage Site and has a central place in Portuguese history.
In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria attended a high-level dinner with Friends of the Ocean at the Lisbon Oceanarium.
Crown Princess Victoria first wore a new By Malina dress with her Valentino wedges and her Susan Szatmary bag. She paired the outfit with her Céline sunglasses, her Epoch watch, her Dulong bracelet, and her usual stack of silver bracelets. During the morning, she changed into her Adidas sneakers.
In the afternoon, Crown Princess Victoria wore a Saloni dress with Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Red Valentino bag. She paired the outfit with her Sägen earrings and necklace as well as her Epoch watch and her Céline sunglasses. She later changed into her Adidas sneakers.
In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria wore a new Rotate Birger Christensen dress with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Prada clutch. She also wore her Shourouk earrings with her Epoch watch, her Dulong bracelet, and her usual stack of silver bracelets.
