Dutch State Visit to Austria - Day 3

On Wednesday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent their third and last day in Vienna as part of their State Visit to the country. The couple traveled by train from Vienna to Graz for this last day.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima first visited the company AVL to discuss the sustainability of motorized transport, innovations in e-mobility, and autonomous driving among other topics.

Afterward, the Royal Couple visited Graz’s town hall where they met with Mayor Elke Kahr.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima then attended a lunch hosted by the governor of the state of Styria Hermann Schützenhöfer. The lunch focused on the importance of women in science.

In the afternoon, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended a presentation about the Radoffensive Graz, a mobility plan for the city that is based on Dutch expertise.

The Royal Couple concluded their state visit at the Uhrturm on the Schlossberg. About the state visit, the couple said: "Austria has a special place in our heart. We know it well, both in winter and summer form. The state visit added an extra layer to our feelings of belonging. Thanks a lot and goodbye! ”

Queen Maxima wore her Natan dress with her Max Mara belt and Gianvito Rossi sandals. She also wore Gucci sunglasses.
