Princess Elisabeth opens the Princess Elisabeth Additive Manufacturing Lab

On Thursday, Princess Elisabeth officially opened the Princess Elisabeth Additive Manufacturing Lab at the Catholic University of Louvain.

The Lab aims to develop the 3D materials, machines, and applications of the future while training a new generation of engineers with new production techniques.

Princess Elisabeth toured the lab and heard more about how 3D printing is already used in many fields such as healthcare or aeronautics.

With this new Lab named after her, Princess Elisabeth and the University aim to stimulate a new generation of women students in scientific and technological fields.

Princess Elisabeth wore an Emporio Armani outfit with her Jimmy Choo pumps and her mother’s Furla clutch. She also wore J.Crew earrings.
