Belgian State Visit to Democratic Republic of the Congo - Day 1
Today, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde started a six-day state visit to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Royal Couple departed Brussels in the morning.
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde arrived in Kinshasa in the early afternoon and were welcomed at the airport by the President of the Republic and the First Lady.
The Presidential Couple held a meeting with the Royal Couple to warmly welcome them to the country.
For the departure, Queen Mathilde wore her Emporio Armani coat over a pink top and trousers. She also carried a Giorgio Armani bag (with thanks to ModeKoninginMathilde) and she wore Giorgio Armani pink pumps.
For her arrival in Kinshasa, Queen Mathilde wore her Giambattista Valli dress with pink pumps and a pink clutch as well as a Fabienne Delvigne hat.
