Swedish Royal Family Celebrates Victoriadagen
Happy 45th Birthday to Crown Princess Victoria! To celebrate her birthday, Crown Princess Victoria was first joined by her parents, her husband, and her children in front of Solliden Palace where she was eagerly celebrated by the crowds.
Afterward, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, and Prince Oscar went in a horse-drawn procession from Solliden's castle to Borgholm's castle ruins to attend this year's Victoriadagen concert.
King Carl-Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Prince Carl-Philip, Princess Sofia, and Princess Madeleine joined the Crown Princess family at the concert.
The concert featured performances by Tomas Ledin, Tove Styrke, Janice, Victor Leksell, and Jonathan Johansson.
Crown Princess Victoria also presented the Victoria Prize to alpine skier Ebba Årsjö. Each year since 1979, the Victoria Prize has been awarded to one or more athletes who have performed an extra meritorious achievement during the year. Ebba Årsjö won two gold medals in alpine combination and slalom as well as bronze in downhill at the Winter Paralympics in Beijing. These were Sweden's first alpine medals in the Paralympics in 20 years.
Queen Silvia wore her Max Mara jacket with a floral dress and nude pumps.
Crown Princess Victoria wore a custom top and a skirt by Ida Sjöstedt with her Valentino wedge sandals and her Miu Miu clutch. She paired the outfit with Annika Gustavsson earrings (with thanks to Milani) and an Engelbert necklace. She also wore a bracelet with roman numerals symbolizing her birth month as well as the birth months of her husband and children.
Princess Estelle wore a By Malina dress with a Bonpoint cardigan and Pom d’Api shoes.
Prince Oscar wore a Bonpoint suit with a Tartine et Chocolat shirt and his Adidas sneakers.
Princess Sofia wore a By Malina dress with her Castaner wedges. She paired the outfit with hoop earrings, her Skultuna bracelet, and necklaces by CarvingFor and Edblad.
Princess Madeleine wore a Veronica Beard floral dress with Valentino wedges and her Moncler jacket. She also wore her Cartier bracelet and her Ebba Brahe necklace.
