King Philippe and Queen Mathilde attend World Economic Forum - Day 1

This week, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde are attending the World Economic Forum in Davos. The royal couple arrived in Switzerland on Monday evening.

On Tuesday, they first attended the Official Welcoming Address with other world leaders.

Afterward, Queen Mathilde attended the "Meet the Humanitarian Disruptors" session.

She also met with Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization.

In the evening, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde joined the Belgian delegation at a Belgian Power Reception.
