On Tuesday, Queen Maxima attended several engagements in Amsterdam. She first visited the Pink in Blue police network at the Police Academy.
Pink in Blue is the oldest police network and is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Pink in Blue started as an internal emancipation movement and transformed into a more operationally focused network to stay in touch with the LGBTQI+ community.
Afterward, Queen Maxima attended the FMO 'Future of Finance' conference in her role as UNSGSA for Inclusive Finance for Development.
During the conference, Queen Maxima spoke about the importance of safe, accessible, and affordable financial services that protect people and promote economic development.
