The Prince and Princess of Wales visit Cardiff to mark Black History Month

On Tuesday, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited Cardiff to mark the start of Black History Month.

They first visited the Grange Pavilion to mark the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the HMT Empire Windrush in the UK. They met with members of the Windrush Cymru Elders, Black History Cymru 365, and the Ethnic Minority Youth Forum for Wales to hear more about how the Windrush generation contributed to the Welsh Community.

The Prince and Princess of Wales then visited Fitzalan High School where they met with pupils to discuss the work they have been doing around black history and the vocational courses the school provides. A number of pupils in the school are also direct relatives of the Windrush Cymru Elders and are from a variety of cultural backgrounds with 70% of pupils speaking English as a second language.

The Princess of Wales wore her Holland Cooper suit with her Holland Cooper bodysuit, her Gianvito Rossi pumps, and her Shyla London earrings.
