On social media, the Royal Couple said: “We spoke today with those involved in the Netherlands about the terrible situation in Gaza and Israel. They shared with us their sorrow over the immense human suffering, their fear of societal responses, and their feelings of insecurity. We also talk about the hope for understanding and respect for each other and the persistent effort needed for that. We live intensely in this difficult time and stand with them for a safe and peaceful society for everyone. ”
