On Monday, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary spent their second day in India as they make an official visit to the country. They first attended a meeting with India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
Afterward, the Crown Prince Couple laid a wreath at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial.
Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary met with India’s Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankar who hosted an official lunch in their honor.
In the afternoon, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary officially opened the exhibition “Silver Treasures from Denmark and India” at National Museum New Delhi.
The exhibition showcases the differences and similarities between Danish and Indian silver craftsmanship.
In the evening, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended a Grand Dinner marking the start of the official business visit to the country.
