Dutch Royal Couple and Princess Catharina-Amalia visit the Dutch Caribbean Islands - Day 8
On Monday, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, and Princess Catharina-Amalia continued their tour of the Dutch Caribbean Islands. They landed in St Maarten in the morning.
They first toured the part of the airport that is still under reconstruction following the Hurricane Irma disaster in September 2017.
Afterward, they visited the emergency and disaster response services where they assisted in a disaster exercise.
The Royal Couple and the Princess of Orange then visited St Maarten Medical Center where they spoke to patients and learned more about the hospital’s expansion.
In the afternoon, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, and Princess Catharina-Amalia took the Color Me SXM mural walk in Philipsburg. These murals are designed to brighten up Philipsburg, as many of the town’s buildings are still vacant or damaged following the hurricane.
Queen Maxima first wore a Massimo Dutti suit with Gianvito Rossi pumps, her Fabienne Delvigne hat, and her Chanel sunglasses. When visiting the airport, Queen Maxima wore her Salvatore Ferragamo ballet flats.
Princess Catharina-Amalia wore a Natan suit with a Vanessa Bruno blouse (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima). She paired the outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her straw clutch. She also wore her Chimi sunglasses, her Apple watch, her Marianna Lemos necklace, and her Hermes bracelet. When visiting the airport, she wore her Veja sneakers.
In the afternoon, Queen Maxima wore her Natan outfit with her Guglielmo Rotta pumps and her Chanel sunglasses.
Princess Catharina-Amalia wore her Diane von Furstenberg dress with her Gianvito Rossi sandals and her Jacquemus bag. She paired the outfit with her mother’s Supertrash earrings, her Marianna Lemos necklace, her Hermes bracelet, and her Apple watch. She also wore her Chimi sunglasses.
