Queen Letizia attends closing of the Centenary of the first medical air evacuation in Spain
On Thursday, Queen Letizia attended the closing event of the centenary of the first medical air evacuation in Spain at the Cuatro Vientos Air Base in Madrid.
Queen Letizia first attended an official ceremony before watching a medical air evacuation drill.
Afterward, Queen Letizia boarded the C-295 (T-21) aircraft of Wing 35 already configured as MEDEVAC, in which the isolation chamber used for air evacuations is located.
