Queen Mathilde meets women in leadership positions in conflict prevention and resolution

On Friday, Queen Mathilde met with Baroness Jennie Vanlerberghe, women's activist and founder of the Belgian branch of "Mothers for Peace", Dr. Sima Samar, a former minister in Afghanistan and member of the United Nations High-Level Panel on Internal Displacement, and Annie Matundu Mbabi, President of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom in the DRC.

The meeting was held on the occasion of the international conference “Women at the Peace Table” . During the meeting, they discussed the challenges faced by women in leadership positions in conflict prevention and resolution.

Queen Mathilde wore her RED Valentino dress with red pumps and her Rolex watch.
