Spanish Royals Host Audiences in Madrid

On Friday, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia gave an audience to the Board of Trustees of the Spanish Committee of the United World Colleges Foundation as well as the Spanish Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities (CERMI).

In the morning, King Felipe and Queen Letizia received the Spanish Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities (CERMI) at Zarzuela Palace to discuss the biennial evaluation since the historic reform of Article 49 of the Spanish Constitution. During the audience, CERMI representatives presented the progress, future prospects, and remaining challenges in translating this human-rights-based constitutional amendment into effective improvements for Spain's 4.74 million people with disabilities.

The Spanish Royal Family then received the Board of Trustees of the Spanish Committee of the United World Colleges (UWC) Foundation at Zarzuela Palace, meeting with sponsors, new students, and returning alumni. The foundation, established in 1996 under royal patronage, is dedicated to raising funds and selecting Spanish candidates to promote peace and international understanding through UWC's educational programs.

Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia held a meeting with a diverse group of young people with disabilities at the Student Residence of Madrid. During the conversation the young people shared about the daily challenges, societal barriers, and pending issues faced by those with disabilities.

Queen Letizia opted for a Byan printed dress, styling the look with Isabel Guarch earrings and a pair of Magrit pumps.

For her outfit, Princess Leonor chose a fitted Carolina Herrera shirt, accessorizing with wedges from Calzados Picon and a ring by PDPAOLA.

Infanta Sofia wore a light pink suit from Mango with LMDI flats.
