Queen Sofia presides Ceremony of Solemn Oath or Promise before the Flag
On Friday, Queen Sofia presided over the Ceremony of Solemn Oath or Promise before the Flag at the "El Rey" Barracks of the Royal Guard in Madrid. During the ceremony, 75 new members of the Royal Guard were sworn in before the Flag of Spain, followed by a speech by the Colonel Chief of the Royal Guard and a tribute to those who gave their lives for Spain.
