King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attend Ecumenical Service
On Saturday evening, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden attended the Christian Council of Sweden's Ecumenical celebratory worship service at the Stockholm Cathedral.

The Christian Council of Sweden designated 2025 at the year of ecumenical and are hosting a series of events in services in August for Christians to gather together. The theme for both the ecumenical year and the ecumenical week is Time for God's Peace. During this week, more than 70 seminars took place in an effort to provide different perspectives on how churches work for peace in society and for peace and justice.

The service that the King and Queen attended today was a solemn service attended by invited international church leaders and guests and the Swedish Prime Minister. The service was recorded and will be broadcasted on SVT on Sunday. The service included a mix of leaders from different Christian churches, including the Church of Sweden, Catholic Diocese of Stockholm, and Georgian Orthodox Church.

For this service Queen Silvia wore her tan Georg et Arend coat and dress set with Jana ballet flats. She accessorized with pearl earrings and a brown hair fascinator.
