Belgian State Visit to France - Day 3
On Wednesday, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde spent their third and last day in France.
They first visited the Château de Chantilly with President Macron and the First Lady where they saw an exhibition on Louise-Marie of Orleans, a French princess who became the first Queen of the Belgians.
Afterward, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde traveled to Lille where they were received by Lille’s Mayor Martine Aubry. An official lunch was held at the Opéra.
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde then visited EuraTechnologies, a startup incubator and accelerator that is a symbol of the economic reconversion of the entire region. The visit focused on cross-border collaboration.
The State Visit concluded with an official farewell military ceremony before King Philippe and Queen Mathilde took the train back to Belgium.
Queen Mathilde wore her Armani Privé coat with grey pumps, her Giorgio Armani grey clutch, and her Rolex watch.
