Finnish State Visit to Norway - Day 2
On Wednesday, the President and First Lady of Finland spent their second day in Norway. Crown Prince Haakon first joined the Presidential Couple at the BI Business School where President Alexander Stubb gave a lecture entitled "The new world (dis)order ".
Queen Sonja and the First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb then visited the Vigeland Museum. They saw Kven artist Åsne Kummeneje Mellem’s extensive exhibition. The artist presented her work to the Queen and the First Lady and explained how she explores the concept of käsityö, which are traditional Kven craft techniques.
King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the official lunch hosted in honor of the Presidential Couple by the Norwegian Prime Minister.
In the afternoon, Crown Prince Haakon joined the Presidential couple at a seminar organized by NHO and the Finnish business organization EK.
In the evening, President Stubb and the First Lady hosted a return reception at the Nobel Peace Center for King Harald and Queen Sonja. Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit were also in attendance.
Queen Sonja first wore her blue Pucci suit with her Eliot Zed pumps. For the lunch, she wore a brown dress with the same shoes.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a blue dress, most likely made by an independent designer, with nude pumps and her VBH clutch.
In the evening, Queen Sonja wore a purple dress with her Eliot Zed pumps.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a green dress with her Christian Louboutin pumps.
