King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attend Gustavia premiere
On Friday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the premiere of the Gustavia opera at the Royal Opera. The Opera tells the story of Adolf Ludvig Gustav Fredrik Albrecht Couschi, known in his time as Gustav Badin. Couschi was taken as a slave child from the Danish colony of Saint Croix in the West Indies to Sweden in 1760. He grew up at the royal court and later became the foster son and servant of Queen Lovisa Ulrika.
Queen Silvia wore a repeated pink dress with her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets.

On Tuesday evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a reception for the authorities of the Balearic Islands and representatives of Balearic society at Marivent Palace. They were joined by Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, as well as Queen Sofia.
