Queen Maxima visits Haarlemmermeer and the Noordwest Hospital Group
On Wednesday, Queen Maxima visited the Stronger Together against Poverty project in Haarlemmermeer. With this project, the Oranje Fonds and Nationale-Nederlanden support five local alliances to help residents in poverty at an early stage, before they need a legal debt settlement. Queen Maxima met with people who benefitted from the initiative as well as with volunteers and professionals.
Afterward, Queen Maxima visited the Noordwest Hospital Group in Alkmaar. The visit focused on regional cooperation and the use of technology to reduce administrative burdens and improve treatments. Queen Maxima toured the hospital and heard more about their capacity management department which ensures an even inflow of planned patients, tailored to the deployment of staff and the number of beds required. She also learned about their use of AI and other technology to improve diagnostics and treatments and to reduce administrative tasks for nurses.
Queen Maxima wore her Natan Couture red coat with a Natan Couture red dress, her Gianvito Rossi nude pumps, and her Roberto Coin earrings.
