King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attend Global Child Forum's Partners Day
On Wednesday, King Carl-Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the Global Child Forum's Partners Day at the Royal Palace. The Global Child Forum was initiated by the Royal Family in 2009 and is an independent platform that brings together world-leading stakeholders for in-depth dialogue and increased knowledge about children's rights.
During the meeting, representatives of the Global Child Forum discussed the work of the organization and what impact it has on the business community. Partners also presented the future initiatives. Queen Silvia ended the meeting with a speech in which she said: ”Together, we must continue to work to integrate children's rights into business operations and ensure that companies worldwide not only respect, but also actively protect the well-being of children.”
Queen Silvia wore her Zara pink blazer.
