On Tuesday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the Global Child Forum's Partners Day at the Royal Palace. The Global Child Forum was initiated by the Royal Family in 2009 and is an independent platform that brings together world-leading stakeholders for in-depth dialogue and increased knowledge about children's rights.

During the meeting, representatives of the Global Child Forum discussed the work of the organization and what impact it has on the business community. Partners also presented the future initiatives. Queen Silvia ended the meeting with a speech in which she said: “Our conversations have reminded us that while the challenges are significant, the opportunities for positive change are equally great. Together we can build a future where children receive the protection they are entitled to and where their voices and rights are given a clear place in decision-making – both in society and in business.”
