Crown Princess Victoria visits Bangladesh - Day 2
On Tuesday, Crown Princess Victoria spent her second day in Bangladesh where she is undertaking a working visit in her role as her role as UNDP Goodwill Ambassador.
Crown Princess Victoria did a field visit to Khulna where she learned more about different projects carried out by UNDP. She visited a facility where they work to secure clean drinking water for the population through a purification system for collecting rainwater.
Crown Princess Victoria also inaugurated a Smart Service Point of Post Office and received information about how Bangladesh and UNDP work with digitization and inclusive digital development.
In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria visited the Asian University for Women where she heard more about the Futurenation project and its aim to empower young women. In her speech, Crown Princess Victoria said: “You have been given the opportunity to pursue university-level studies. An opportunity that should be accessible to all women around the world. When you graduate, I would like to encourage you to work towards a more inclusive society. Invest in the education and well-being of children – especially girls who face a steeper uphill climb. Moreover, support and work with other women. Together you are a force that can move mountains.”
Crown Princess Victoria first wore a By Malina outfit with her Adidas sneakers and her Bush Princess bag. She also carried her Longchamp bag and her Philip Treacy hat. She also wore her Kreuger Jewellery earrings and necklace as well as her Epoch watch.
In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria wore a By Malina dress with her Valentino sandals, her Decadent clutch, and her Sägen earrings.
