On Thursday, Queen Maxima spent her last day in the Philippines as the UN Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance.

She first held meetings with Dr. Eli Remolona Jr., Governor of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, the President of the Asian Development Bank Masatsugu Asakawa, and Secretary of Finance Ralph Recto.

Afterward, Queen Maxima visited the Ateneo University where she met several presenters on digital public infrastructure.

Queen Maxima then held a press conference with Dr. Eli Remolona Jr., Governor of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, during which she emphasized the importance of ensuring that access to financial services also results in increased financial health for Filipinos.
